Kirrilly, to be honest, I don't really want to know... I sometimes see the old trains full of cows heading to the abbatoirs and it brings tears to my eyes. I admit ignorance is bliss. I love the taste of meat, but don't like to think of how it got to me. You'll all think I'm an asshole for that I'm sure. Its true tho.
When I went vegetarian and then vegan the best feeling was knowing that those animals weren't dying because of me. I don't think you're an asshole for liking the taste of meat, I'm just glad you've made the connection. Would you ever consider not eating meat?

Ironically, Bird's Eye make awesome vegetarian Bubble & Squeak. laugh

Maybe do a one month trial? My b/f did it, knowing that he would go back to meat. He lost weight and told me that he felt a lot healthier. I was a little heart-broken when he went back to meat sad

EDIT: I mention my b/f because I don't want you thinking that we're trying to 'convert' you. If you want to go back to meat after a trial, then that's fine. Veg*anism doesn't work for everyone.

There are things you can do, like Meat Free Mondays, that still make a difference. And you might surprise yourself, it's easier than you think wink

No that's veganism. Vegetarians only eat no meat, vegetarian is so easy it's not funny. I found vegan really easy too.

You'll find there is heaps of stuff to eat that doesn't come from animals, but somehow I don't think you're being serious.
