I only question the wisdom in creating a profile with meat as an avatar and describing vegans as not hot, and then wonder why the lukewarm reception?
Miss Monster... Meaning what exactly?? You automatically assume you love/care for animals more than a meat eater. How very typical of a vegan. Always very full of their own importance.
Now if that's not generalising, I don't know what is...
I know many vegans who are not self-important, and many meat-eaters who are.
Are you sure you're not here to insult the people for whom this forum is set up? Because I'm offended.
I'm pretty sure if you met me, my brother, my vegan friends & family, you would say we're the exception. But we're not. Most vegans and vegetarians who choose this diet out of compassion for their fellow beings, are compassionate people, and not just 'on a crusade'. I think it is those you refer to who are full of self-importance that are the exception, not the 'typical'.
I'm sure there are plenty of sites where you can join a chat about how silly & self important vegans are, but this is not the appropriate place for it.
Just re-posting this for B&S in case you missed it (re your recent post about never having met a vegan without a superior attitude)
Do you know why I said I hate Vegans? Because I've never heard of one who doesn't feel they're 'superior'. THAT'S what I hate. And I seem to be encountering it here- big time.
Sorry B&S, I mis-quoted you. You said you've never heard of a vegan who doesn't feel they're superior, not you've never met one. Well now you've heard of a few (me & my family & friends). Does this mean you can stop hating, or saying you hate, vegans?

I think it was pretty clear why it went down a negative path again. Must I play that Youtube clip one more time?
Might I suggest that this thread be ditched in favour of a new thread? There are enough nasty comments in this thread that it will be difficult for any conversation to move onto better topics if it's held here.
