At school I have to do a 1000 word essay on basically anything. I get to choose the topic, but it has to be considered 'popular' in youth culture. I need to include a few articles about my chosen topic but I have no idea what to do. Any good ideas?

Yeah, I was thinking about something along those line. but I don't know if they're considered 'popular in youth culture'. Which is confusing cause things that are 'popular' are different in everybodies personal opinion. Lol.

Well, if you look at what's actually "popular", you'll have a pretty boring essay topic that most people will discuss... like Twilight... lol! =)

And this would actually be a decent topic. And there are thousands of people that would consider these topics more popular (and important) then some stupid sparkling vampires.
Maybe i could do something on animal cruelty in general, because I'm sure I'll find alot of articles about that.
vegetarianism is pretty popular with youth culture, so is being 'emo' you could tie that in with depression and youth. Or you could talk about homosexuality, that's also very popular these days in youth culture.
