Just curious to know... If you have Omni friends over for coffee, do you supply them with cow's milk to have in their coffee?

I live in an omni house, so all of that yucky stuff is available. If I wasn't living at home, I wouldn't buy it, so probably wouldn't have it to offer... Hmm that is something for me to think about.

Ditto. That or I challenge them to bring a cow over and put their coffee cup under the cow's teat. But usually they bring their own.

I'd not supply probably, I'd love them to try it with soy the first time. If they reckon they don't like it, well.. that's a hard one. If it was just my place I would not buy it because it would go to waste, but my boyfriend is omni, so i guess it might be irrelevant.
He says he doesn't like soy milk so we might have to have normal milk in the house anyway sad BUT. I always do the sneaky and serve him soymilk in his milos and cereals and I don't tell him it was soy until after he said it was nice. Yet he still says he doesn't like it. I wont give up, i'm hoping his taste buds will adapt to it and he wont even notice it tastes different if he knows he's drinking it.

I think maybe a compromise for you and your guests would be to do 50% soy and 50% cows milk if they arn't happy to go with soy. They probably wouldn't even realise then.

I think maybe depends on the friend/family?

My sister ALWAYS keeps a stock of soy milk for me at her house when I go visit her or baby sit my neices.. so for her or them I would without a doubt. But others who are skeptical I would make them drink soy if they were desperate for a coffee. I dont even notice the different with Soo Good Lite. My boyfriend drinks it in Milo, muesli, weetbix and coffee and doesnt mind it at all. Actually, now we only buy soy milk because he prefurs it. Get them to taste it at least happy

Maybe don't even mention soy milk and just serve coffee with the soy anyway?

I think a lot of people find soy milk a little strange at first- especially if you've grown up with cows milk your whole life. But yeah, you get used to it, really, and you just have to find one you like wink

If I had my own place, there certainly wouldn't be any cows milk haha so if someone comes over to have coffee and wants cows milk, they have to bring it themselves :]
