im using dodo which so far has been pretty good - however it is slow. I think its actually caps the rate at which you can download - so if thats what you wanna do, maybe not. Other than that, all you do is plug the wire in and go!

I live in Wollongong and Telstra only enabled the exchange a couple of months ago. I'm sweating on TPG to hook up so I can go through them!

Isage has it for my exchange but because they buy from Telstra it's really expensive too.

Stupid telstra!

I'm not sure, but there are probably other forums better for this type of conversation.

I'm not really that sure what internet providers have to do with animal rights.

lol, you all have your slow ADSL and ADSL2+, I am quite proud of my 8mb/s cable internet connection happy with telstra for something like 60 bucks a month love expensive, but worth the fast downloads i can get happy

I would reccomend you going to a internet package comparasin site, cause, obviously, i can't reccomend cable to you if you don't have it in your area, and my expertise is more in the hardware side of things. however, if you need help setting it up, i can try happy

make sure you get an 'unlimited' package. They won't charge you if you go over, but they will probably slow your internet to dial up speed (which is supposed to be 64kb/s, but normally runs at just over 10) Also, don't get mobile broadband unless you have a laptop and you want to take it everywhere. You're better off getting it 'in the wall' (as my aunty says) because it's a lot cheaper.

iinet
I am thinking of changing ours over to iinet after my mum transfered both at home and work and loves it.  She used to have so many problems with her connection at work, but hasn't had anything but amazing things to say about iinet.
I think they even came in and set it all up for her, too.
