I was 6 years old and thought it was silly that the butcher had a picture of a spring lamb painted in the window that's when my Mum explained to me that that's what lamb was. I was horrified and began conecting the dots that lamb was lamb and chicken was chicken. From that day the light bulb was on and i became vegetarian.
It's great that im now vegan but It's not great that I was living under a rock... As that meant I still ate animals it was just against my knowledge, just the thought makes me sick!
