Mr K only has to *think* he is veejun and he immediately loses de weight he desires to shed. However, Mr K retains love handels for de men and women of the world, because he is THAT considerate.
Just make sure you haven't replaced meat with pasta, potatoes and rice. So many people do that when they first go veg.
Eat more protein - tofu (not fried) and lentils are the highest protein for the least energy.
i basically live off rice, pita, hommus and legumes. i put on about 5 kgs since cutting out fish from my diet more than a year ago and yes i have replaced it with eating carbs. yet i wouldn't trade being veg for anything in the world
I had the same issue, When I went vegetarian I also really stepped up on eating healthy. However I found my weight wouldn't budge. Loosing weight was not my reasons for stopping meat consumption but i thought it would be a nice bonus. Turned out I have PCOS which can cause insulin resistance. So now I am seeing a dietitian with the goal of eating better and loosing weight. She's been really supportive of me switching to vegan and has given me loads of pointers...maybe this could help you too?
