That's great and all, but I've consistently done all those things for nearly a year, and my parents are nowhere near accepting that I want nothing more than to live a vegan lifestyle. I feel like I'm lying when I call myself vegan because at times I still eat the pasta from around spinach and riccotta cheese cannaloni, knowing there are traces of cheese still on it because my parents hate the idea of me dropping dairy.
They don't mind the lack of eggs (which I never eat anyway), or gelatine, and even though they think honey is nonsense that doesn't bother them, but milk really gets to them. I will admit that at times I've just sucked it up and eaten something that I know has a bit of dairy in it and that KILLS me, but I honestly can't think of anything I can do that won't hurt my parents.

Yes, it's all good in theory, but if they just won't budge, I'm not sure what you are supposed to do.

Theres stages to appepting for some people-
1) yelling at you/ getting angry
2) teasing or being nasty
3) being dissapointed
4) not caring
5) fully accepting it
6) being proud of you

although there are some people who accept immediatley, stop at one step, and are un budgable.
haha laugh that list was made up on the spot
