I'm having the same problem, Mitchum is the best I've ever used and SNAP! found it on the Peta list. Vegans check the ingredients however - but they definitely DO NOT test on animals.
Mitcham (parent company Revlon) dont test on animals but according to the Ethical Consumer guide http://www.ethical.org.au/company/?company=556
Revlon still buy and use ingredients that have been tested on animals by their suppliers.
its a difficult one, once i finish my nivea one (i bought it because i heard that nivea biesolgof didn't test on animals as its from europe and they have a no testing policy?) but apparently it is so fml, im going to get natio or lush next time, lush has some deo but idk if its anti perspiration & they kind smell grotty

I'm confused by Nivea too! I see different answers on different websites and I don't know who to trust!
I also need to find a deodorant. I used to use the rexona clinical strength, & am currently using a natural vegan one, that isn't working. I can apply it 3 times a day, & I still smell! D:
I don't mind if I sweat, I just don't like smelling.
I tried making my own deodorant, but it gave me a rash. I think it was the bi carb soda? I read that, that can be too harsh for some people.
Not exactly women's deodorant...but I find that Natio Mens roll on deodorant is the only vegan/cruelty free deodorant that works for me. Every other vegan deodorant I have tried just leaves me smelling bad D:

I use to use mens deodorant a lot when I was out in the heat a lot more (spend too much time indoors now ). Can't stand a lot of the fragrances in womens deodorant! If you go for a 'plain' smelling guys one, then no one can tell anyway. Better than smelling of OB.
Coco Deo is fantastic. It's unisex and is coconut oil based so it smells like coconut. Not tested on animals, natural and works really well (even on me!!). www.cocodeo.com.au
i found and use a really good one its called harmonis kiss roll on (http://harmoniskiss.com.au/) its made from natural ingredients and is not test on animals. its about less than 5 bucks at safeway
