Hey,

I just voted in the delicious. cafe awards http://www.taste.com.au/deliciouscafeawards/

I voted for Vege2Go in Brunswick East, Vic because I love their shabby chic style bonsoy lattes and the vegan tiramisu.

It got me wondering what your favourite cafe is, veg or not? I'd like to hear especially about any that make a good soy latte, or those that don't charge extra for soy.

BTW, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf stores charge 75c extra for soy! Rip off!

And if you have time, please vote for a vegetarian cafe at the taste website!

There used to be a good one on Hindley St, up the west end... think it was called Caos?
Plus there are heaps on Rundle St! There is also a vegan cafe near the markets... think it's called Bliss?

I work at Gloria Jeans.. We charge 50c extra for Soy, but i think it's worth it..

But it turns out, we make a vegan thick shake so long as you order it with soy... Next time you go to Gloria Jeans try a soy Cookies'n'Cream ... It's made with Oreos and Coffee syrup happy ... Verrrry yummy!
ohemgeee I am trying that!

I prefer Hudsons generally as they do not charge extra for soy AND they have a light soy option for all us chubby vegans tongue Too bad they have no vegan food though sad

Would probably vote for A Minor Place, in terms of having delicious vegan treats + good coffee.
The one time I went to vege2go the dish I got was cold in the middle...

My fave is the wild fig cafe. So good. They have vegan and vegetarian nights on Wednesdays plus all their coffee is fair trade and they dont charge extra for soy milk. The best i know of!
