I can't believe this post! I think that the people who are complaining here haven't actually seen Cesar's show! The kicking is a poke to redirect obsessive behavior mainly aggression! This man has saved thousands of dogs from being put down or abandoned due to aggression etc.! He dedicates his life to dogs and all you people can do is criticize him! If you watch the show you will see dogs that have been with people for years choose to lay at his side instead of the owner in a short time! You can see dogs love him and feel happy being around him! Why are people complaining about Cesar and not Victoria stillwell from England! I saw an episode of her show where she advised a family to put down a nice dog that snapped from time to time but was generally a good dog! The poor dog jumped into the car happy and was then put down and they showed the man digging a hole for the dog! Cesar has never told anyone to put a dog down and infact, if the people can not handle the dog after he has advised than what to do, he takes the dog and rehabilitates it then houses it with someone who can handle them! I have dealt with Rottweilers that were ordered to be put down due to aggression and saying good boy or using possitive reinforcement to a dog who is already aggressive doesn't work or fix the problem! Try it! Cesar's methods work! You have to be kind and patient always even when a dangerous dog is about to bite you! People here have absolutely no idea!
Seriously people, I'm losing faith in all of you 'animal lovers'. There are so many people who ACTUALLY hurt animals, and are killing them! Here you are having a shit about a man who has dedicated his LIFE to training dogs that would otherwise be put down for their behaviour! I can't believe you people would actually have the AUDACITY to complain about someone who is SAVING lives by giving them TAPS with his FOOT! Seriously, people, open your eyes! >__<
On several occasions he's tapping the dog FOR AGGRESSIVE behaviour towards another dog; which FYI could lead to a horrible attack and then the immediate euthanasia of the said dog. Guhhhh! Seriously, let me at least have faith in Animal Advocates... ;__;

What do you mean by "this gay is sick enough"? Just curious, I'm assuming you believe in treating animals like the way you want to be treated, as they have the capacity to live, breathe, feel pain and love just as much as we do, does that not apply to gays?

I think it was a typo. I think it was meant to say 'guy'. If it's not a typo, then it doesn't make any sense. Cesar has a wife and two kids...
Anyone who actually watches the show would see that Cesar does not harm dogs! I would love to see any of the people here who have all of the answers and criticize Cesar's techniques deal with an aggressive rottweiler! If Cesar is so cruel why do dogs gravitate to him and prefer to lay close to him,even when the owner is there and he has just met the dog,and simply taken it for a walk? Why don't the people on this forum complain about Victoria stillwell? She is,an idiot and told one family to put a dog down which they did! The poor dog was a bit snappy, not as aggressive as some of the dogs Cesar saves and a small,breed! She had no idea how to deal with the dog so advised them to kill it! Cesar saves thousands of dogs directly and indirectly and his mission is to get dogs desexed to prevent unwanted animals and to educate people not to treat dogs like children, which is hard, to,prevent aggression leading to unbalanced dogs and the possibility of the dog being destroyed because it has attacked someone! Again, I would challenge anyone here to deal with aggressive dogs! I have rescued Rottweilers that have been ordered to be destroyed due to aggression and you can not deal with these animals with anything but a calm assertive attitude! If anyone here thinks that they are experts then contact me and they are welcome to try with a dog that I have just rescued!

A lot of the dogs are so aggressive that most would be put down, but Cesar rehabilitates them into being normal dogs. He also supports desexing, rescue/adoption and loves Pit Bulls!
I watch his show a lot and use his techniques on my dog. Especially the 'exercise, discipline, affection' routine. I get so many people compliment me on how well behaved my dog is.

No, I don't even know why people think it's a kick. He gives them a quick tap with the back of his shoe, to get them out of an aggressive state of mind. He doesn't use it on non aggressive dogs. It's similar to using a check collar to give corrections, or giving your dog a tap on the nose or rump.
I am so embarrassed by the people on this forum who think Cesar hurts dogs! I would understand complaining about Victoria stillwell who advises people to put their dogs down because she has no idea what to do! The show where you see a gorgeous dog being put in the car and then the owner digging a hole and burying the poor thing! The dog was not a bad case and just needed guidance, not to mention how cute he was! When owners can not handle a dog Cesar offers to take the dog and rehibilitate it and find the right home! He has never put a dog down!
If he is so cruel, then the dogs would not gravitate to him! When he visits someone it takes no time at all for the dog to lay next to him completely relaxed instead of beside the owner! This shows that dogs trust him!

I would love it if Cesar challenged the stupid people out there to handle the dogs that he does and see if a clicker works, or a hug, when a dog wants to kill!
