There's also a forum at Vegan/Vegetarian Society of Queensland www.vegsoc.org.au. The members are older there.

Unfortunately, there's no in between! Oh well.... young at heart that's me tongue

I am older then most on here but don't feel that it is a problem at all.  Choosing to not consume meat and animal products is a very astute thing and I think it reflects on the young people on here, they are all very mature people and I'm very impressed to tell you the truth!

I am on 'oldie' like you and have just joined. I'm with you. Let's face it we've been here longer.
Actually I noticed someone had posted vegan foods and included Oreos! It's clear the person is not aware of palm oil and how it is effecting Indonesias wildlife including the Orangutan & Tiger.

Enjoy,

Elizabeth

I'm not defending Nabisco or Kraft, but the Oreo thing is brought up often.
The company claims is will be listed as palm oil if included, as displayed in this thread.

Here's something else about palm oil that Elizabeth might not have known...

•Stearic Acid Vegetable Oil

In your Cosmetics

•Elaeis Guineensis

I am a mature person, and just joined unleashed. I wish to make a difference in the way they are treated, age has no barrier we are all working towards the same cause. Work with the young and the planet and animals may have a chance. Some of the oldies are too set in their ways, and most businesses are in for the money. there are two types, the ones who adore animals, and the ones that only see them as a $ sign and under the impression that they don't feel pain and suffering..
