Oh, so you believe shooting ducks is RIGHT?
Yes, it would seem he does. Just like he believes that cutting animals throats whilst they are fully conscious and left to painfully bleed out for up to a few minutes as they thrash and writhe in agony after enduring weeks on live export ships is right. It's important to the economy, I hear (or at the very least a few wealthy live exporters' pockets). Just like shooting native waterbirds is important to .. uhm... no I have no idea why that's important

confused
People like that make me mad  angry
The pain and suffering inflicted on other living beings is not right. We (the human race) do not own other creatures, they are not ours to force to do things, they are not ours to torture, they or not ours to abuse and use, they are not ours to lock up and they are not ours to use for our own benefit. How on Earth is doing any of that RIGHT?

I voted yes (of course), but unfortunately no is winning at the moment.
At least this incident is getting duck shooting some media attention, and though it's not good that she was injured such accidents could encourage the government to ban it sooner.

Ohh, so duck shooters are allowed in the water but protesters aren't... Yeah, I'm sorry but you're really proving yourself an idiot, you can't rescue ducks unless you're in the water, and she was part of the duck rescue team.

if a person walks into the middle of peak hour traffic and gets hit by a car whos fault is it the driver or the person stupid enough to put themselves in a dangerous position. Using your argument id say you would say the driver.

At no time have i argued for or against duck shooting im stating clearly that your protester went where she was not permitted to go against DPI advice and got shot.  But typically when somebody says something you dont agree with you add bits and go off on a completly different topic

Have you ever seen a duck get shot? Or a wounded duck in the water?

I think a more fitting scenario would be: There's a dangerous lunatic driving around town hitting children, dogs, cats and other cars. A person goes out to save a child/dog/cat from being run over and in the process gets hit by car. Whose fault is it the driver or the person saving the dog/cat/child?

Sorry for the post mix up - a few double posts were removed, but were being edited at the same time - which meant some posts were lost. Apologies.

P.S. Please be civil
