Everyone in the country knows NOT to leave dogs in hot cars. There are no excuses for leaving a dog in a hot car. She should most definitely be charged with animal cruelty, ignorance is not an excuse anymore.
This story really annoyed me. An animal should not lose her life due to her carer's lack od responsibility.

Some people are just dumb or too selfish. We hear of kids being locked in cars all the time.
My brother works in a pub and said a man came in for some drinks. He didn't realise until his 2nd drink that this man had left his 3 year old kid in the car all by himself! He kicked him out and threatened to call the cops if he ever did it again. It's disgusting.
You know what else is stupid? When I see a dog locked in a car, I go "Dad, shouldn't we wait for his owners?" and he just says "No, don't worry, the windows are down" So? Even if the windows are down, it still gets very hot in there!
Poor doggies, I wish there was something I could do!
That's terrible!!! You're right, we need to start thinking of ways in which we can try and remind people to not lock their companions up in cars on boiling hot days, or at all.
