I have the most amazing rottweiler X bullmastiff. He's my angel. He's 2 next week, and follows me everywhere i go. Ive had him since a pup, and he couldnt walk up stairs to get to my room, so i slept downstairs with him on the couch for weeks so he wouldnt be alone. he's so used to having me around. People think he'd be mean, and people assume his breed are harmful. but he is the most harmless, calm dog ive ever seen. he's my princess, happy

He sounds so cute! My dog Sugar is a Mastiff X bullarab, and she is very sweet, she just gets a little exuberant with me!

Isn't it sad how pit bulls are treated? When Am staffs look and were bred the same thing! Not fair!

The reputations of particular breeds can be quite nasty.. even though the majority of rumours aren't true!
You know that a pitbull is actually known for it's calmness towards children? =]
bullmastiffs and rottweilers are actually massive sooks, if treated in the right way. happy

I think pitbulls are very unfairly dismissed. a friend of mine had one, and he was such a beautiful animal, he died of cancer- which was sooo sad, he had so much life in him and he was such a darling little thing

It also depends on the conditions there brought up in too as well as breed, most people who look for those particular agressive breeds unfortunatly want the dog to be agressive and treat it as such...

Im happy to hear that you have such a lovely companion happy

I know people who own pitbulls, all they have to do to get them accepted is to lie and say they are staffies... most people can't tell the difference! laugh

The prejudice against some breeds is stupid. We have a German Shepard and he is the biggest sook!

Nothing makes me happier than spending the day at home spoiling my baby- he's so happy, its make me extremely sad knowing that I will out live him, and for most of my life I won't have him. Sure makes you realise you've got to make most of the time you have with your pups.

love love
