I feel sorry for this young man's family because obviously they expected him to come home that day but he did go there knowing that there would be death in the air.

My main concern lies with the animals that were being slaughtered at the time. Hopefully none were exposed to any dying & hacked up animals around them or were those animals themselves.

Going really off topic here but:

If everyone was vegan though, what would happen to all of the farm animals bred for this industry? None of them are native and really, not many farms would want them anymore as there would be no business. Do you think we'd see an overpopulation of cattle as they're not farmed and let go like stray dogs or do you think there'd be a mass killing of all or most cows?

No one's expecting everyone to go vegan overnight.. If everyone was vegan it would happen very slowly, farms would breed animals gradually slower and slower. It's not as if they would open the gates and say "off you go!"

I hate when people use this argument against vegans that if we were all vegan we'd have animals "roaming the streets" and that they would take over the world o.O

No, no, no Im not using it as an argument against vegans its just a question. I understand that the businesses would slow down the breeding till a stop but I dunno, its just a thought that keeps popiing up in my head.

Haha sorry x_x; Its hard to explain what I mean. OKAY how about this

In a very hypothetical, very, very rare situation the Government would make an Act stating the use of all animal products is illegal, starting in 2015

What do you think would happen between now and then within the businesses?

Well, it's sad if anyone dies, but this man would be one of the reasons that pain was caused towards these animals. He'd kill many animals a day whilst he goes home and these poor animals are missing their mum or dad.
It's unfortunate but I'm not sad. It's the animals' revenge.
