man you guys are lucky, i was veg for about 1 and a half years but every night at dinner i wud get the same lecture about how hard it is for my mum to cook every night. its was making my life a living hell and i dreaded going home from school everyday, so i eventually couldn't handle it anymore so gave up. but the thing is my mum loves animals to bits so its kinda weird.

wel im only fourteeen and cant cook for crap, i burn two minute nooodles and mess up cake mixes, so yea. i think it would be hard cause our kitchen is verrrrr y small
my mum lets me do all my food shopping and cooking.. which i can only be thankful for.. but i still don't think she is fully aware that i don't want to eat fish anymore.. so hopefully she doesn't nag me at any point.. there's no need tho as i use flaxseed meal/oil.. now i am trying to reduce my dairy intake by half in terms of cheese and yoghurt and i already drink soy/rice milk
My parents are ok with me being vegetarian but are absolutely totally against going vegan. They basically had a spaz attack when i made the yummy vegan cupcakes! They also don't want me to take part in leafleting or stalls etc. So annoying! anyone got an ide ahow i can bring them around to let me help out more???
My parents were fine about me being vegetarian...but im still trying to convince them to let me go full out vegan. My mum says that cos im still 'growing' i might miss out on important nutrients...still trying though!

Just tell them you need don't eggs and soy milk can provide you with just as calcium as dairy milk. I also think that consuming dairy milk makes it harder to process iron or something -- which vegans need.
If all else fails turn to the video on the chicks in the blog.
