Also, eggs are not the most supported food at the present.
A single egg can have 60mg over the daily recommended cholesterol in the US (which is set at 200mg) while even 200mg has been considered a 'risk' amount

As they're rescue chickens, I say go for it if it's what you believe is ok. Who cares about whether your called vegan or cruelty free when all that matters is that at the end of the day you're not contributing at all to animal suffering. Yes, it would lesson animal suffering if the eggs that you would normally eat went to neighbours who would otherwise buy cage eggs, but  with 20 chickens, I'd say you have more eggs than you're whole street could eat!

I'm vegan but to say eggs are periods is wrong!  Please get educated!  Talking about periods is already a taboo subject, please do not make it more so by your false information.
