I've been using natures own but i kind of wanted to find something better more upper class similar to dove that i am almost out of (i didnt realize it wasn't from an evil company im probs going to give the rest to my mum) without wasting money buying something that isn't worth it and being stuck with it for the next few months, my hair is damaged and needs to be seriously hydrated!!!! any tips?
De Lorenzo are great - they are a salon brand and are 100% vegan and not tested on animals. You can get them from Price Attack and most hair salons.
If you're after a natural product to revitalise your hair, the best things for this will be in your kitchen! Lather your hair in olive oil and sleep on it overnight. Shampoo it in the morning and it will be so soft and shiny. I did this last night and my hair is amazing today. If your hair is really brittle at the ends I'd recommend getting it trimmed (as hair products and treatments can only do so much).

Oh my lord. You need to buy Giovanni. It makes it so healthy & shiny. It's a bit pricey but I recommend it completely.
Seriously. I had an old lady stop me in the supermarket tonight to tell me that my hair looked lovely.
Not really "high end" but I love Lush Reincarnate or New! Solid Shampoos, Reincarnate in particular really nourishes dark hair.
Conditioner-wise if your hair is damaged and you're not vegan, go with Lush Retread (stinks but amazing for your hair!) I'm using Veganese now though, quite like that too
I've also used Natralia Nourish Naturals range, I don't think the conditioner is vegan though http://www.brandsworldwide.com.au/content_common/pg-cat-haircare.seo I found it at Coles
How does the Giovanni shampoo/conditioner smell Kimberley? My De Lorenzo is almost up so might give it a go!
It has a sweet smell but its not overpowering because it isn't one that has a marketed scent.
Oops, I lied. I'm actually using the one for damaged hair. When you put it in, it *almost* seems like you can feel it healing your hair.. It foams up and doesn't leave you with a silicone finish. Love it.
Kimberley - what hair type do you have?
I have really fine hair so I need to find a shampoo/conditioner that doesn't weigh down my hair. Do you think Giovanni would work?
Lol sorry for all the hair questions
With red hair I use the delorenzo auburn shampoo and conditioner, it helps keep my colour brighter for longer but for it's price I don't think it's that great.
I use a henna treatment you can buy from priceline in a tub for $5. It lasts me months and I use almost a handfull every week (or smaller amounts throughout the week) and it keeps my hair AMAZINGLY smooth. I love it, it's affordable and a great treatment. My hair has been to hell and back.

Um. Its not particularly thick and its completely dead straight so I have an issue with it looking a bit lifeless. Both of the shampoos & conditioners that I've used from Giovanni (smooth as silk & dry and damaged) has given my hair a bit of life. It used to sit flat with Natures Organics but now it actually has some body and I don't feel like I'm bombarding it with a massive amount of chemicals to achieve it. I just dry it and I'm done.

Okay sounds good. I will definitely be giving it a try!
Thanks XD
