I mailboxed a few but silly me forgot to take a camera, I was so focused on getting up extra early haha. I also hung some around work but would feel a bit..awkward taking photos of a noticeboard.
I have some leftover so when I have time next I'll be taking some photos of me doing something constructive!
Some photos from the kisschasy concert!
it was a great night and we got alot of information out there!
I've seen the tables at a few shows, and I'm keen to get involved.. How do I go about it?
I leafletted in Rundle Mall and at the Victoria Square tram stop on Saturday the 17th with a friend from school..
My camera died after i sent it swimming in my friend's pool though (grr!), so I don't have any photos..
I was actually quite surprised how many people were willing to stop and have a chat, and find out what we were on about!
Erm, I don't actually have a (working) camera but I handed mine out at Knox City shopping centre on a Saturday. Got them all out really quickly and there were a few people interested! Directed them towards the AA website so hopefully that's done some good.
Leafleted on the perth trains. Didn't actual fidn that many people who wanted to take some so i just left them out on the seats so that people would have to pick them up before they sat down.
Then went onto sticking leaflets up in and around my school. Photos of that soon hopefully.
Last but not least me and a couple of mates went stickering around the suburbs of Perth. Couldnt put up photos of that on Unleashed but here's the link to my blog where you can see one of the signs http://green-is-black.blogspot.com/2009/10/stickering.html
Hi there all,
I have distributed all my leaflets but have no photos as I was not able to borrow a camera.
I distributed at The North Park Shopping Centre, Marden Shopping Centre and the remainder at the Central Market.
It was an interesting project. Some people wanted to convince me that there are all these hungry people out there and there was no other way other than to factory farm.
Some I convinced, some I did not, some had their eyes opened as they had no idea that cruelty like this existed and that they were supporting it by eg, buying caged eggs, or KFC, or Macdonalds, Hungry Jacks etc in fast food.
I also talked to them about free range meat and eggs, but talked about legumes and health.
Some had no idea that they were eating hormones and antibiotics when eating factory farmed meat, eggs and dairy products. So I hope I made a dent in people's knowledge re health for animals and humans, PLUS THE ABHORENT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS in factory farms.
Well I know I have left it to the very last minute (due to me grieving over my lost Cat) but I have come up with the idea to hand the pamphlets to door knocking trick or treaters on halloween night.
They will get it inside an envelope with an unleashed sticker and some lollies.
I am going to wear my "Ronald says eat death" T,shirt which has an appropriate image on it for halloween. So I will have some more pics on sunday.
