That's just f**ked up... I thought schools got farm animals to learn how to look after another being? Not to see it to 6mths old and then have some lamp chops.
I went to a farming school when I was growing up. The animals were slaughtered in full view and sometimes hung up to drain. Chickens were placed in metal cones along the fence of the sport oval to drain. They were chickens students helped raised and I don't recall being told they would be slaughtered, just seeing them one day draining and flapping around in those cones.
The school made money by selling the meat.
This is abosolute #$%@*! These kids are going to go out into the world with no respect for life. The teacher who came up with this should fired, I just can't believe it, I'm at a loss for words! It's messed up, cruel, corrupt and pointless!!! When I was in primary school I thought about how cute lambs were not how much money its flesh could make.
Grrrrr.... what is UP with the world today !?!?!
cuz its aprimary school im only a year or 2 older than the year 6 kids and if i was in that position
i would just grap ht e sheep and sprint
i know SOME kids minds are kinda crazy but sriously you would think they would know thats wwrong
Did you read this? "children aged 6 to 11 -- voted 13-1 to have him killed"
That one kid deserves a medal for sticking up for the lamb in front of a whole class of brainwashed kids !!
I thought exactly the same thing
I just don't understand how children that young can be so convinced in their decision. I wonder if they were coerced...
not relevant but it reminds me of when my psych lecturer said that when compared to the babies of other species human babies are rather dumb LOL.. although to some extent it could also be related to differences in lifespan i think
