Hi everyone, ^_^

Don’t know whether this topic has been posted yet? But would love to hear from you!

As the weather getting colder…. I tend to munch on more stuff than usual, but as a new vegan. I find it difficult to find vegan snacks to munch on and so far... I’ve only find these two products:

Vitasoy – Soy milky

Minton – Choc coated, crème filled biscuit (gluten & dairy Free), it taste similar to Tim Tam

What vegan snacks do you munch on and where do you purchase it from?

Oh you're in luck. There are heaps of vegan snacks from woolies and coles etc!

http://www.unleashed.org.au/community/forum/topic.php?t=24 This thread covers a lot of 'accidently vegan' items. It's amazing how many junk foods are animal free.

My favourite chocolate is Sweet Williams (health food aisle)
My fav chips are Vegechips (health food aisle)

......... infact. Just hit the health food ailse for a bunch of on purpose vegan snack foods tongue
But yea, normal junk food has some vegan options too. I think that link I posted should cover a lot of it! happy

Wow, your list is limited, lol! There's heaps of vegan goodies out there! happy Check out the "accidently vegan thread" for an endless list of vegan goodies!

My favs: Pretzels, Pringles Original, Homebrand Salt & Vinegar, CC's plain, Salt chips, Vegechips, plain popcorn, nuts, Seaweed rice crackers, Sweet William chocs, licorice.

If you're after sweet bikkies there's Oreo's or check out the bikkies in the health food aisle in the supermarket. There's quite alot to choose from in the Leda or FreeFrom range. Oh and the Leda Choc Rum Balls are to die for!

It's quite fun shopping vegan happy mmm, hommus. Definitely not missing out on anything yum!

I really like one of the chocolate soymilks but not sure which it was. Was the ricemilk one nice? I don't like ordinary rice milk much, i found it had a husky aftertaste to me.

ZOMG I'm sure it's So Good Chocolate Bliss! I would install a separate tap in my sink just to dispense this liquid gold if I could!

If you're feeling the munchies - and want to introduce some variety, grab a bag of dried fruit and nuts - honestly, I go through about 700gms a week happy

i was reading this vegan cheese comparison before . It compares 4 brands including cheezly, sheese etc.

http://www.godairyfree.org/Product-Reviews/Alternatives-Cheese/Vegan-Cheese-Comparison-Teese-Cheezly-Sheese-and-Follow-Your-Heart-Vegan-Gourmet.html

Its really cool, it compares fresh & cooked taste and meltingness ETC.

Seems cheezly  wins!
