Anythings better than bra shopping (including pulling teeth!)
I still dont understand why gilrs have to drag guys along, maby they like torturing us?
girls take guys along??
When I'm doing some serious bra shopping I go alone. I will take my fiance if it's a "special event" bra to get an opinion on how it looks though.
i cant go alone, haha..
bra sections in department stores and especially the bras and undies shops make me extremely uncomfortable. They have these massssssive posters of these extremely perfectly shaped, perfectly coloured, perfect haired, perfect boobed, perfect faced girls looking extremely pretty..and i walk in looking all frumpy and chubby feeling like shit cause of these posters.. >.<
i cant remember who it was..if it was my ex or my best friend at the time (now bf) but i was in the shops with them and i needed a new bra, i couldnt go into one of the bra shops..i was too scared shitless, i was having a bad day and as soon as i got near the shop i felt horrible and couldnt go in..
the first time i actually went into one was with vegan zombie and my boyfriend, i was so scared shitless, i was full on shiting myself >___<
overly photoshopped toothpicks honey! if u got overly photoshopped like them, u would look just as good, maybe even better!
Some of my girl mates bring me along and coz they know I will never make a move on them, even invite me into the changeroom. I have seen them all naked heehhelol I'm scared one day they will want to see me.
there is something wrong with people. why do they always make fun of vegos/vegans? the same kind of thing happened to me today at school so i totally understand wat your talking about. apparently there is this whole thing that people don't like vegos. its just mean.

They do it because they resent us for making them conscious of the suffering they contribute to ... it's an admission whilst also a deflection of their guilt. It's hard to accuse the accusor (they are usually too shocked/hurt/wounded). We should always be ready for this and not accept it.
Have yourself prepared (do it now) by having something ready to say for these moments.
I like "I became vegetarian when I realised I was responsible for the unnecessary suffering and death of innocent animals. I'm now healthier, happier and (slimmer/have better skin .... insert whatever is true for you ... which is even better if the agressor is overweight, has bad skin etc). Perhaps one day you may feel the same." I always say this in a friendly manner with a genuine smile. If they are nasty back, who cares ... they must be truly ugly people, not worth worrying about.
Okaay,
i'll admit.
I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but i think what that lady did was rude...
I thought ppl at the checkouts arn't meant to Question what your buying?
Hmm...
Ughh, I had a similar experience to that once. I had to do a quick run down to the shops to pick up some soy milk, some tofu and some vegan ice cream. The check out chick was one of those really cheap looking girls - plastered in make up, a push up bra with chicken fillets, the bad hair colouring (terrible home job) and the really choppy hair that looks like they had an accident with the lawn mower. She stood there reading the packaging (I was in a hurry - my dad was waiting out in the car) and she says with a disgusted look on her face "Eww, your not one of those tofu munching freaks are you?" She then goes on to say how meat is essential, vegetarianism and veganism is a load of shit and how only bogan hippies actually like/care animals, and how animals were created to serve humans. She then finishes with some snide remark about my appearance. Some people in this world are just nasty horrible creatures.
