Hey guys,

Does anyone know a good Vegan restaurant in Sydney I can go for my birthday.

Or a really good vegetarian one with vegan options?

What kind of restaurant are you wanting to go to? Something casual, or more formal?

My first recommendation is always Peace Harmony, on Erskine Street in the city. It serves the best Thai food I've ever had, and it's 100% vegan (apart from the bottled soy milk). The food is AMAZING, but it's quite a casual, bland atmosphere and doesn't serve alcohol - so it depends on what you're looking for.

Bodhi in the Park (vegan) and Yullis (vegetarian with a separate vegan menu) are a little more formal and also very good, and they serve alcohol too.

I second Peace Harmony, love that place!

Or perhaps head into Newtown.... Green Palace or Green Gourmet.

I hate Green Gourmet :-/ I've only eaten there twice (once in Newtown and once in St Leonards) but both times the food was absolutely awful.
