God gave people hearts and ears for a reason

This is what my teacher said....Listen with ears, eyes and heart...umm, I think that's how it goes?  

but people are trying to say they have 2 eat meat because god put it them on earth 2 eat

Many people say that because they want to think its 'ok' to eat meat, even though that creature has suffered for thier own selfish taste buds.

hmmm, I wonder? Well I think humans could get away with being civilised chimpanzees...
I'm going to look up which human introduced meat to the diet..

What does that have to with this?

the bible states that we are to be stewards to animals, we are not equal, therefore "thou shalt not kill" doesn't apply to them. Treating animals well certainly falls under the umbrella of good stewardship, but as discussed in other threads there are versus that allow us to eat animal flesh to sustain us, however conflicting the actual story depicted seems to be, and other versus can be interpreted to work for veg*ism as well.

Really though.. if someone uses that excuse and they aren't actually religious and actively living a christian/catholic/whatever life  - then using that as an excuse holds no water....it's just something they come up with the cover for the fact they don't know why they do what they do

I know the some rules don't apply to animals i mean don't some people kill still hurt others even though god said not to

What God says: treat others equally

What God actually does: sends homosexuals and people who don't follow him to hell

What God says: don't kill

What God actually does: kills millions of people (great flood as one example) for all sorts of obscure and ridiculous reasons
