the first time i went vegan i watched a lot of animal cruelty vids the result was having a lot of evil dreams of animals dieing.
when i went vegan/ vegetarian again recently I decided not to watch that kind of footage to avoid having bad dreams.
sadly it made no difference.
I had a dream where me and my friend chris were driving through a town which looked European. we were lost and ended up in a slum. we turned down this one street and to our surprise there were about 50 people lining the street slaughtering and gutting sheep. as We continued down the street we relised we couldn't see the road, it was caked in blood. The people killing the sheep looked friggin evil and were looking at us as their next victims. We evently made it to the end of the very long street and got as far away as we could.
I had a dream the other night of someone killing my cat (Stanley) i was defenseless and couldn't stop him. stan died then he threw the corpse at me and i woke up.
a few nights later i had a dream where chez rung me up cos squirt choked to death on his birdseed.
last night i had a dream where someone was squeezing a bird in front of me. the air sacks (for those who understand birds respiratory systems) began to fill with air and the bird began to blow up like a balloon eventually the bird's heart exploded against his chest and he died.
Even though these dreams are pretty mild compared to the dreams i used to have i still have to assume the worst is still yet to come.
I have lots of nightmares about animal cruelty.
Night before last I had a really weird one. I won't explain the weirdness, because I don't even get it (it was incredibly random) but it ended with some people using a shovel to push some chickens along, and they *accidentally* crushed one lof them. It was even worse because the chickens looked exactly like my chooks...I spent the rest of the dream bawling and holding on to one of the remaining chooks to keep the other people away from it.
I have nightmares in sort of a binge fashion where I'll have them every night for a week then have a month or so off.
I often dream that every turns into zombies and eats each other and I'm the only non-zombie, and I'm pretty sure it's my subconscience's metaphor for eating other animals. I was thinking the other day that my feeling is when people eat animals they are eating someone from my family.
Basically I dream about how people are killing the earth and fellow species ect. and I'm the only person who can stop it, but, it's only one random little kid so most of the times i lose. Kind of like in harry Potter when he has to stop voldermort in the last book
Wow... you guys have some pretty terrible ones. The worst I've had is a few where I've accidentally eaten some meat in a burger or something then freaked out... D:

I don't have any dreams like that. I don't read any articles on animal abuse so maybe that has something to do with it, not sure?
My dreams I'm usually fighting and someone is chasing me!! I'm sure something could be said about that. Lol!

Then I freaked out because I didn't know I was dreaming and I started throwing up (in the dream, lol). It was disgusting because you could see all the detail like the grease on the chicken and the gross pink bits and remnants of feathers. ugh.

besides why do people fight over roast crackling? when there's big gnarly hairs sticking out of it.
I have to avoid reading and watching animal cruelty stuff or I do have crap dreams. They usually include having pets being killed or being in situation where I can't save them and watch them die.
So instead play lots of video games and read lots of books to have wacky dreams of destroying giant monster trees with water and other weird stuff
