God damn Green Gourmet. Mm mm MMMM.

On the same street, opposite side, heading towards Newtown station: Green Palace
Opposite Green Gourmet: Naked Espresso (vegan pancakes + strawberries are yummers!)
I think Naked Espresso is no more sad
I was there less than a month ago? It's only opened on weekends.

Also Badde Mannors in Glebe on glebe point rd has some vegan options as it is a vegetarian cafe.
I refuse to go to Badde out of principle. I'm vegan, so it doesn't really make a difference to me, but they advertise EVERYWHERE that they only serve free range eggs... Except the chef walked past with dozens of crates of cage eggs.

Naked expresso is open and AMAZING and at night it is Basil pizza. WHICH IS SO DELICIOUS, and there vegan deserts R.U.L.E

also Jemby Rinjah Eco Lodge in Blackheath is a nice getaway place and has all these vegan options!!!!!!!

Sydney Vegans are we a shy bunch, going by the forums Melbourne got alot of Vegan things happening, more a cohesive group maybe? It seems in Sydney we are all that one veg head in our friend circles, maybe?

It must be. The website says daily, but it is never opened when I go there. Plus is looks like the who shop is Basil Pizza, hardly any mention of Naked Espresso. Did they move??

PS Ahhh they seem to have just updated there site, first time since 2009 maybe?

That is a shame, I am only in the area M-F during the day, so both Basil Pizza and Naked Espresso are not available to me.

I'm the same. I like to find reasons to travel into Sydney and get some good food while I'm there, but it's always during the day on weekdays.

It's probably a good thing Naked Espresso is only opened on weekends. I violently love their pancakes + strawb & babana brekkie, and having it Mon-Fr would thicken my waistline...

A few times I have planned to go to Green Gourmet in Newtown to find that they're closed sad so I end up at Green Palace. They're open throughout the day, and late at night. Personally, I prefer food at Green Palace anyway so I don't mind! happy

I recently went to The Gong for a wkend. Have you been to Amigo's Mexican? They do a pumpkin filling instead of the usual bean ones. It's awesome!
