I am not sure what their angle here is at worst. I think it puts the whole movement in bad light to the public. Either from people against pornography or others who think it is "selling out" to try and get the message across.
Perhaps they think they will get more visitors using the biggest sub-section of the movie industry but I don't think that will pay off considering the negative repercussions.
I don't know why PETA keep using these sorts of campaigns. I honestly don't think it makes people see animals differently, or want to go veg*n. It just makes people gape over naked women's bodies and then make comments like "What a shame people in PETA aren't really that hot".
What on Earth made them think that is a good idea?!
I know PETA has done great things, but geez... they do some really stupid things too.
I don't really see it as being sexist (hey, maybe they'll have photos of guys too?), but it's just lame. It is not going to help animals at all, imo.
I really don't see this promoting animal rights. All it will do is make more people think that PETA is crazy. As for the so called sexism and what not, these women have a right to use their body that way if they wish to and these women's rights groups telling them that they shouldn't is anti-feminist in a way. So what if they're 'objectified' are we going to pretend that women don't objectify men too?
