Definitley, I don't think you can really look at factory farms and then say 'eating meat is natural'... nothing natural about it at all. Animal testing makes me sick, that is why I don't buy animal tested products. Broiler hens are horrid, they have so many mutations from being kept in such crappy conditions, I just don't like that meat or eggs come from those conditions.
Sheep mulesing and circuses didn't really influence me to become vegan. But I don't buy wool and I hate circuses. Except all human ones - they are great><

10.Would you consider it apart of a particular “scene” to be Vegetarian or Vegan? Please elaborate.

Hmmm I don't think so. I guess if you are a 'hippy' or look like one people would put you in the vegetarian compartment... But generally I have found vegetarians come from all walks of life and you just don't know where one will pop up and suprise you (like a jack in the box).

I suppose it might be easier for some people to only hang around other vegetarians or vegans, makes it easier to eat in groups and people probably wouldn't harrass you as much...

No. Some may do it for health reasons, but I think most of us make that connection between the food we eat and the flesh of a living being. And on further reading, make that connection between dairy and animal abuse.

Yes,I once enjoyed eating KFC but founding what happens to the poor chickens are just horrible. Chickens go through so much misery just to fill human "very hungered' stomach's

Whne I became vegetarian a. I was three and b.  I did it  because I'd come to a general decision that I shouldn't be eating this.

These factors probably contributed more ( but were not the sole reason) why I chose to become vegan
