you're welcome! to me being vegetarian is unbelievably easy when it comes down to me.. it's other people who make it awkward.. half of my friends and even my own family (except for mum and maybe my cousin) still don't know my personal beliefs and it's sort of difficult to discuss them when everyone has different knowledge and exposures.. i am sort of sick and tired of hiding in my shell when it comes to this issue.. in my arts course i am always contributing to opinions about the environment not animals though and sometimes get frustrated cos i can't even handle that.. anyway i am sick of people i speak to saying uncalled for ignorant crap about vegetarians that i often become speechless and say nothing at all.. it really hurts and i certainly don't enjoy disputes as i am not that kind of person

I've only been here a week or two but it's fantastic to have people that know exactly where you're coming from, and where you can actually express your feelings about animal cruelty without people thinking you're trying to preach to them...

happy

LOL the stereotypes of vegos are usually associated with hippies, the hare krishna cult, eating disorders and more recently environmental extremists
