I am so outraged I had to come on here to vent my disgust.
Coles are currently running a promotion which states "because we all buy meat". I do not appreciate being told I consume dead animals during a casual trip to the supermarket.
As a result of this campaign, Coles have had lots of angry vegetarians/vegans complaining on their Facebook. Have a look at all the comments.
i haven't seen those adds, as i haven't watched alot of tv recently but i remember the "we all buy milk" one
haha it's just like that inghams advert "if you don't eat chicken, there's something wrong with you"

I hate their ads too, I find them offensive. By saying 'we all buy chicken', it's implying that I too allow chickens to be tortured and slaughtered for my taste buds.
I know, it's such a flipping joke isn't it? I see rows and rows of bus shelter ads on my way to/from work stating things like "because we all buy milk" or "eggs", and I'm like "I don't". I feel like going on a graf counter campaign and plastering "I don't. - Go vegan" over the ads in black paint.
