Yeah, I was on their website looking for vegetarian recipes pre-veganism and this was listed in the vegetarian section:
http://recipes.coles.com.au/recipes/1032/ravioli-pasta-bake/

... Look at the VERY first ingredient. /facepalm

Ooooohhhhh deaaaaar... Looks like Coles have NOW offended some meat eaters by going out the front of a WOOLWORTHS and giving out free samples of their meat. (There's a few people on their wall having a go at them for it.) It seems for every bit of GOOD they do (like getting rid of their "Because we all buy..." campaign), their marketing department just can't seem to get it right.

Apparently it's part of a "Price war" that Woolies/Coles have been in over dairy/eggs/meat for about a month now due to the declining number of people buying these products. (Source: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/more-news/coles-declares-meat-price-war/story-fn7x8me2-1226149971710)

i think somebody else has mentiond this, but this may be the worse advertising campaign of all time, because as well as vegetarians and vegans, there are people out there with allergies! what about lactose intolerant people? are they offending religious groups advertising something? i think there was some crack being smoked in the board room that day...

... or when you've told everyone you've gone veg and they keep offering you bloody lollies. No thanks, I don't really feel like cow hoof by-product today. You run along and make yourself sick with those.

I am not sure Glen whether that maybe false advertising on the part of Coles.  I so know that they do buy organic beef but whether their meat is exclusively organic or not is a grey area no doubt. We kill our own beef so I am not to sure on the Coles organic beef claim...

I meant the gelatine constituent to most chewy lollies. I'm sure that a lot of Coles' meat is organic, as per the advertising spin, but that means little to me nowadays!
