So there's a perfume coming out by Elizabeth Arden that I'd really like to buy, but I'm confused by their testing policy! I know they're owned by Unilever, who do test. But Elizabeth Arden claim not to test final products or ingredients on their website (http://corporate.elizabetharden.com/no-animal-testing-policy.php). That all sounds great but they're not on any of PETA's lists, which could be because their owned by Unilever who do test?
Oh and I did do a search and there was only one thread mentioning Elizabeth Arden with someone saying they don't test, but I wanted to make sure before I bought anything!
I was just doing some more research and found this on Unilever's wikipedia
"In 1989 Unilever bought Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Fabergé, and Elizabeth Arden, but the latter was later sold (in 2000) to FFI Fragrances."
And on the Elizabeth Arden page
"Elizabeth Arden's cosmetics company continues to trade today, and was bought from Unilever in 2003 by FFI for $225 million, a New York company. They changed their name to Elizabeth Arden"
I can't find any information about FFI since they're now just called Elizabeth Arden.
