Do they? If this is true, then that's poo. I wonder if there's a way to verify that... just to make sure...

I am sure people have emailed them before and they said the Worcestershire sauce is not from animal origin therefore making them vegan ecstatic

yeah it does say it's from vegetable origin, but i just wasn't sure!
there seems to be a habit of omnivores telling me what i can and cannot eat...
like seriously, it annoys the crap out of me -_-'

it's like they feel so guilty about eating meat that they have to find any possible way to make you look like a hypocrite..
i'm sorry omni's but me accidentally eating something i thought was vegan is not me breaking veganism

Alot of products are going from vegan to non-vegan this year. Like Kelloggs Cron Flakes (Kellogg will be turning in his grave!) and Coco Pops, not surprised if shapes are one of those products (I'm pretty sure they contain palm oil, so either way, probably best to avoid them!!!)
Eat only fresh organic ingredients, make everything yourself and you can't go wrong =D

I forgot to mention, I read somehwere, MX newspaper maybe? That its to boost the protien content or something, you know, make the product "healthier". Pfffffft!

They're not vegan unfortunately and it has nothing to do with the Worcestershire sauce, it's the flavor enhancer E635 which is made primarily from meat and sometimes fish too. It's used to give that salty taste which maintains a low sodium ingredient listing for them so they are 'healthier'.

I was really bummed to find this out since I love BBQ shapes but I guess it's good to know you're not inadvertently eating meat based ingredients. Companies need to be a bit more upfront when it comes to this sort of thing and state 'vegan' or 'not vegan'. I don't feel we should have to research a bunch of numbers to see what they're made of!
