Ok, so like many of us Vegans. When we talk to others about being adopting the  loving, compassionate lifestyle most of the times we hear the same thing "Where do you get your protein."
This article will swuash them for you...

Cool mention from Arnold Schwarzenegger - Your body only needs 36 grams of protein per 100 pounds (45kg) of body weight. Shockingly enough the average person consumes 3 times this amount.

It's not exactly surprising, considering the dreadful things people consider food. Take Meat Lovers' Pizza for an example (something I didn't like even as a meat eater) - now there's an atomic protein overdose, and typically only one meal of the day. Add breakfast and lunch to the equation... plus a lot of people who work out go for the protein powders.

Tofu and lentils FTW!

Isn't it amazing! We always get blown away with this stats...and there are so many of them that have been hidden by us.

We are definitly consuming WAY too much protien, even vegans/vegetarians. But what's cool about a vegan diet, is when we get too much protein from our veggies our body simply discharges it as waste, un-like animal protien where it is stored as fat - yuck - which causes high cholesterol levels and impacts our heart and blood vessels.
Slighty off topic. But good to know!

It's funny you say that...I read a quote and I am going to try and dig it up. But there is a statistics that has calculated how much meat the average person has undigested in their bodies when they die. It is something radical like 10kgs....YIKES.
I am cringing thinking about it.
