That's a great article =)

I've recently gone raw vegan and started using a cronometer to calculate how much iron (aswell as everything else) I get daily and i'm telling you now, it is EASY peasy to get all the iron I need, just from my breakfast I already consumed 77% of my iron requirments =D
I've just had my dinner, added it to the cronometer and it now says i've gotten 135% of my daily iron requirments!

And the only cooked food I ate were some boiled cickpeas =D

There's heaps all over the internet ^^

You just have to make sure you're super accurate! Like on the first day, I weighed apples without taking out the core haha, so you know,  my results wouldn't of been very accurate, since I don't eat the core >.<  but now I'm not so silly and cut everything up, then weigh it (Just on regular kitchen scales) then pop the numbers into the cronometer =D

It is really useful, you can see what you're getting enough of and what you're not getting enough of and I can prove to my family that my diet IS healthy =)

Do you eat dates? Dates are great for calories! I had 7 yesterday which made up 465.36 kcal and pears seem to make a big difference too, one pear weighing 189 grams left me with 109.62 kcal and of course bananas, if you can afford it try to have atleast 4 a day.  Also maybe add an avocado, you can easlly get around 300 kcal from about 200g =D

Blend them up real smooth with coconut water and use them as a dip for apples and pears ^^
