I think Fry's make the best vegan sausages, taste a lot like real meat minus that horrible bloody taste. They are at Kosher Mart on Plantation St and I think PAWS sell them too. Shame Woolworths stopped selling them.

I've heard of them, but haven't found them! I wish Woolies would stock the entire Fry's range

If you know Midland and Centerpoint, you'd know the Bunnings and the Good Guys locations, well they have anyday sizzle openings, you go in there and ask if you can set up a sausage sizzle stand (of course Vegan) they'll happily agree with letting you set it up. FOR FREE!!!!!!
I am only going to buy about 4 packs of 12 sausages, maybe 3 and 4 pack of buns. But we'll need way more!
So please help and buy a pack or 2!

hmm i wonder if i could do that at my local bunnings? now that's something i would be allowed to do.. though i might only be able to fundraise for YAPS(local shelter), and perhaps also hand out flyers on animal cruelty! I guess i do have a rather boring holiday coming up in about 7wks...
I went to bunnings today to get a new hatchet and there was a sausage sizzle going on out the front. I hate the smell of it.
I got pretty angry at my animal rescue group a few years back when they were cooking MEAT sausages outside of local pet stores to make money for animal rescue. It didn't add up to me how they could fund the persecution of one animal to save another.

The RSPCA does the same thing. It's like someone saying they're an animal lover but continue to eat them. They haven't made the connection.
