Soy milk makes me nauseas.  Last time I had a soy coffee, about 5 minutes after I started feeling like puking and my tummy bloated up.  Because of this I've been experimenting with the different types of milks.  So far, not a fan of rice milk and almond and oat are ok.  Although we made oatmilk/berry frappes for breakfast this morning and the taste of oats was overly strong.

Soy is best for coffee , I CANNOT drink the 'regular' one (dark blue) or the fat free (red) I drink the LITE one (light blue) perfect for coffee !
Did you see Sanitarium have a new cafe style soy milk which apparently tastes like the ones they use in cafes?
I haven't tried it yet but it sounds interesting.
Naa i havent heard - sounds yummm though. will def try if i come across it!

I'm forcing my self to drink half-glasses of soy milk a few times per day. Bonsoy is nicer than So Good Essentials but it is quite expensive so mum probably won't buy it all the time. Not that it tastes that bad, but I sometimes feel like heaving after taking a sip of soy milk, I think it might be the thicker texture.

ok so...

explain to me WHY you are forcing yourself....

soy milk doesn't replace milk by nutrient value... just by practical use?

THERE ARE MANY THINGS YOU NEED, JUST TO REPLACE MILK... if you intend to match it as a substance.... ... but why bother? Just have lots of good food stuffs.... and use a nicer milk like oat or rice for cereal.

Oat milk is one of the most easily digested grains apparently....

and it is sold every where, almost that soy is sold.

Apart from your local 24/7 LOL... but put some effort in to finding things you like
and Vegan should be fun not something you force yourself to do.

If you don't LIKE it DON"T HAVE IT! there are alternatives that is the WHOLE point about Veganism... to choose the least harming means... way/route what ever...

Soy is bad in my opinion... in many ways than just farming practice...

But do what you like... ^_^

I do quite like Soy Bliss Icecream though I must say

I use to think it tasted a little funny, and I could never drink it straight. But after a little while I couldn't even taste the soy any more, well I can, but It's not strong. There are heaps of alternatives but I never liked the taste of rice and oat milk. I think it just takes a little time to get use to the flavour  happy

Just drink Soy Bliss if you don't like the flavour...

it has added B12 and is fortified with heaps of shit...

if you are looking for a replacement for Milk to drink straight,
don't be deterred by the sweet chocolate or vanilla flavour,
tastyness won't kill you...

Or if you are looking for something on  cereals, oat milk is great....

It is one step up from using water if you think about it....

Just another grain on the plate with some salt and sunfloweroil added.

Rice milk... is a little watery and makes me think of a faint medicinal taste.
But at one point I like it.

I'm drinking Oat Milk "with a hint of honey"
and it is really nice. I guess they could bring one out,
Oat Milk "with a hint of agave" but i'm not sure of the preservative qualities of that.

The Vitasoy Calci Plus (purple pack) doesn't have any Vitamin E listed. But it is the Vitamin D that makes it non vegan. sad
I won't be buying from Gloria Jeans until they change their soy then...

From the Vegetarian Network page:
* As at January 2009, Vitasoy Calci-Plus soymilks are not suitable for vegans. Recently they were reformulated and the newly-added Vitamin D is derived from lanolin (a waxy grease extracted from sheeps' wool). Vitasoy have advised us that they are researching alternative suppliers for a Vitamin D that is suitable for vegans.

You no read my story...

THIS ONE STORE

got it in...

as a change because they ran out of cafe' naturally they use the cafe' variety..

how hard is it when you order a coffee to look over and see the milk they pour into it...

they aren't doing it behind a veil ... or using magic...

JUST LOOK and if it is purple... and vitasoy.. don't drink it...

if it is cafe'... then spank a monkey

when they used something new.. he got me to check it out
before he was going to drink it

there are apps now ... where you type the enumber.. (food number/any number in the ingredients) and it will tell you its name and if it is safe.

I use:
