28 Million Aussie Dollars is how much they've spent on security against The Sea Shepherd....most of it I imagine is from the donated money from the earthquake.

The Japanese fisheries agency even try and justify it saying 'Whaling ports were destroyed during the earthquake'.....ejits.

All those hurt people, whose lives were destroyed and what do they spend the money on? No homes, schools....hospitals. Whales. Catching and murdering whales. Hideous.

I didn't donate a great deal, but my local sushi shop scored a fair whack of my spare change in their 'Tsunami Relief Appeal' bucket. It makes me sick to know that I've unwittingly contributed to the slaughter of those beautiful creatures. F*****g devastated.

Wow they should not be allowed to do that...the money should go to help those who are most in need.
I did not donate (though I think my parents might of?) but nobody should feel bad for donating. A lot of money still would have gone on to help people most in need, and I don't think anyone predicted that this would happen.

I agree Kristy, but there isn't much we can do about it,

If we thought of some way to alert the Japanese people,
I feel this could all be reverted back into their own quality of life.
