Animals Australia will have a stall at the Midsumma Carnival next weekend (Sunday, 15th January 2012)

Free entry this year so come visit the stall, talk with some amazing Animals Australia volunteers, buy some merchandise and enjoy the rest of the carnival.

Our stall is number J-5 so drop by and say hi happy

A bit about Midsumma
Midsumma is a festival celebrating queer culture.
Come along from 11am to 6pm to Birrarung Marr - our new home just behind Fed Square. Free entertainment will also feature from midday with teaser performances from some of the best events in the program to whet your appetite for what's on offer all over Melbourne, and regional Victoria, for the next three weeks of festival. Be sure to take the tram or train in preparation for a fun-filled day of frivolity and festivity on the banks of the Yarra. A feast of diversity will be laid out for your pleasure on the lower terrace, where a cacophony of stallholders will bare their wares, providing the perfect strolling destination for that time in the day when you feel like finding a new view, new friends and lots of eye candy!

Williams Natural Pet Company presents the inimitable Dulcie's Dog Show. Everyone's favourite pack of bitches is back for this high camp Midsumma institution. The 2012 categories are Cutest Bitch, Sexiest 'boy' Dog, Best Owner & Dog Combo, Biggest Tail and Best Trick. So head to the Williams Natural Pet Company stand to register on the day for a gold coin donation. To see highlights of this time honored competition from years gone by, check out the Photo Galleries from past festivals.
Also, although Carnival is a free event, it costs us well over $150,000 to produce. Community groups will be collecting donations on our behalf on the day, so your contribution to them would be greatly appreciated so that Carnival can continue in future as a free event.
