This leads on from my post last week about the fight for the survival of the Red-Tail Forrest, Carnaby & Baudins Cockatoos. They are all endangered. And their fight is only going to get harder with logging, bush fires and the urban sprawl.

Their trees of choice won't ever grow quick enough. It takes 12-15yrs for them to throw a snack. These birds need to eat 100 marri nuts (or 'honky nuts') A DAY to survive.
