I think I just answered this question in my other post replying to you happy

But furthermore I will add a little...

Vegetarians don't eat meat (including fish), gelatin, and some people choose to include many other items on their "Do not eat list".

Vegans don't consume anything that has been made from any animal product. This includes food (so no dairy or honey, this cuts out alot of sauces - mayo, 1000 island, etc), some medications, clothing (no wool or leather), things that are animal tested (varying from make-up, toothpaste, beauty products, etc), also foods with certain ingredients in them (alot of Emulsifiers could possibly be derived from animals, but best to check with the company as some may not be) some bread has E471 which is possibly animal derived, so as you can see being a vegan is a little hard work to ensure you are not consuming any animal by-product, but so worth it don't you think?

Raven has pretty much summed it up, but i'd like to add a few more definitions.

The Pescatarian: Generally follows the eating guides of a vegetarian (no meat) with the exception of fish and seafood

The Polotarian: Follows the guidelines of a vegetarian with the exception of chicken.

The Flexitarian: Otherwise known as the 'part time vegetarians' who like to give themselves a label. Generally teenage girls who see vegetarianism as a way of getting attention, yet when they are caught eating meat by actual vegetarians and vegans alike, often claim "todays a break day" or "i still sometimes eat meat". Trust me, you will meet alot and they are both annoying, and frowned upon wink

The Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian: The 'average' vege who consumes no meat, yet still has dairy (lacto) and eggs (ovo)

The Lacto Vegetarian: No meat and eggs, but still has dairy

The Ovo Vegetarian: No meat and dairy, but still has eggs

Then there is:
The Raw-tarian: who follows a strict, vegan diet, yet insists on 'raw', unprocessed foods that arent cooked.

And the Fruitarian: who holds strong beliefs not to eat anything that ever lived or could have lived. So no meat, dairy, eggs, plants and vegetables. As their name suggests, they only eat fruit, and sometimes some nuts. I've personally never met one.

But finally I present to you:
The Acid-tarian: Drugged up low lifes that are funny to laugh at. Claim that they live on water, air, and acid. I wonder if they photosynthesise ;D
