An american woman was addicted to chicken nuggets and ate them every single day of her life for years. She has become critically ill. The story has been spread worldwide.
Mcdonalds has launched an ad campaign containing an image of chicken nuggets and an image of a pitbull with the caption : Which is safer, eating this? Or Petting this?

This once again fuels the media myth that a pitbull terrier is dangerous because of it's breed.
despite breed specific legislation in every country it's been used has always failed. It is the environment NOT the breed that result in dog attacks.
Please contact mcdonalds with your enraged thoughts on this campaign.

In regards to your american advertising campaign containing a picture of yet another innocent pitbull claiming it to be "risky to pat" in order to downplay the real health risk your chicken nuggets present. Your company has now managed to enrage all sensible dog lovers across not just america but internatially.
Your company needs to aquaint itself with the pitbull placebo, which is a researched scientific document by a recognised animal professional that proves over the last 15 years the media myth has been responsible for over 97% of inaccurate pitbull breed identifications after attacks in america proving these attacks were committed by a majority of other breeds/crossbreeds. Until this advertisement ceases with a prtinted retraction I, my family and anyone else I can contact will boycott your restuarants and cafes permanently. You have undoubtedly added to the needless deaths of more innocent dogs and for what? To make profit and add to the health risk of countless customers.

I would also point out that EVEN IF the assumption of pitbulls being vicious is correct, their ad campaign is based on a "lesser of two evils" premise. They're effectively saying their McNuggets suck, but excuse themselves by saying they're not AS BAD as several other things. Have they not thought their concept through at all?

McDonald's : Marginally less dangerous than being mauled by a pit bull.

Idiots...

Ugh this is just what the breed needs, more fuel to the fire while all this bsl stuff is going on. When will people realize the pitbull is not a vicious breed, the only way they will get like that is by humans. Theres not even any science to it. Actually bsl basically fights against science saying these breeds are more aggressive. Patting a stray pitbull can potentially be dangerous, as can patting a stray golden retriever. I'd much rather pat the average pitbull, which is a nice, friendly goofball of a dog, then eat some very unhealthy chicken flesh from maccas

Didn't the ad already get pulled though? Found out about this on an American pet forum and they said the ad got pulled.

They are yet to print a retraction. So hopefully you are correct and the ad has been pulled, however the damage has been done, and the least mcdonalds can do is print a retraction.

First thing is I wonder if you picked up on the spelling mistake you made. You spelt internationally wrong. Sorry, can't help it. Second thing is good on you for contacting them. It is appalling that they respond to the health of this woman from consuming their disgusting product by demonising pit bulls. I would rather pat one any day over eating their rubbish they call food! I will now email them to let them know my thoughts.
