Animals Australia is definitely NOT for the importation of foxes.
And yep, this story is from last year and thankfully the application to import was denied.
One of the rural papers did a beat up based on Animals Australia's preference of non-lethal control measures for introduced animals and somehow managed to skew that into an approval of this absurd application.
Of course Glenys Oogjes (exec director) shut that crazy rumour down straight away in print but unfortunately some people just read a rumour and run with it.
