I was shocked to see David Lawrence and Kookai in Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria selling rabbit and raccoon fur products.

Please see my photo album on Facebook for pictures of the garments: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.364630906904826.92285.292386740795910&type=1#!/media/set/?set=a.364630906904826.92285.292386740795910&type=1

The labels also stated the garment was made in China so the fur would have come from a Chinese fur farm:

My costumed animal activist partner and I will be planning a protest out the front of these stores to show members of the public that they are supporting horrific Chinese fur farms when they buy fur.
Please show your interest in joining us in protest by contacting myself, Flying Fox or my partner Thylacine Faunafighters. We will be organising pamphlets to hand out to inform the public on what they are really supporting by buying these garments.

"Conditions on Chinese fur farms make a mockery of the most elementary animal welfare standards. In their lives and their unspeakable deaths, these animals have been denied even the simplest acts of kindness."

All I can say is at least they openly say that it's real fur and from what animal rather than trying to flog it off for faux like most do. How sickening. Good luck with your protest. Tell us how you go!
