DAVROE, it is FANTASTIC!! my hair has never felt so amazing!!

They are 100% VEGAN, plus palm oil free, contain no parabens or petrochemicals & they are made right here in little old Adelaide!

Really fantastic, highly recommend!!

I realise the original post here was a while ago, but I am also looking for high end hair products, and have so far narrowed it down to De Lorenzo, and the lesser priced Sanctum (haven't tried either yet, so cannot confirm how good they are!).

Joico IS NOT Vegan. They do carry out some animal testing, and can't guarantee ingredients aren't animal derived.  (Confirmed in a recent reply from the Co when I contacted them directly).

What is concerning me, is when I read many beauty threads it's appears only 'tested on animals' is being used as the criteria for a beauty product to be vegan. Unfortunately it is not as simple as this, most products actually CONTAIN animal derived ingredients - so they are not vegan (even if they state "not tested on animals", and sometimes even "cruelty free").

Also, even if a brand/range has one/some particular vegan product/s, the fact their other products aren't vegan means we are still contributing directly to animal cruelty if we buy from them. The only way to guarantee not funding the cruelty, is to purchase from a completely Vegan company.

So, if If anyone has found any 100% vegan companies for high-end hair products, I'd be very grateful if you could please post.
Thanks.

Davroe.

However, I disagree - if a brand doesn't animal test & has some vegan & non-vegan products; I believe by only buying the vegan products companies will see the demand & change. This has happened.

Buy either De Lorenzo or Davroe. Both are high-end and made in Australia. Sorry but if a country sells their shit in China, then the big mighty buck is more important to them than the lives of living creatures.

muk is PETA approved, but only for cruelty free I believe. It is not in PETS's Cruelty Free and Vegan list
