the forest in brisbane does a mean vegan cheesecake yeah?.. haven't been to brisbane in a long time, but i've heard as much.
Also on the cornetto front, suss out some speciality kosher shops, in whatever suburb has the most kosher shops in your city if you want the vegan cornettos.... i assume they must be sporadically available across the country.

But yeah, on topic: essentially i just wish i lived somewhere a bit better then i do at the moment, so i could be closer to all my favourite vegan delights!
Yep, The Forest cheesecakes are unreal.  They have a black forest cheesecake which is just a complete party in your mouth, but unfortunately it's quite random whether they will have cheesecake available on any given day (sometimes just normal cakes, not nearly as good!).  They're about $60 to buy a whole cake... almost worth it...

I haven't ever seen a kosher shop in Brisbane, but then again I haven't looked.  Will have to change this now that I have the thought of vegan cornetto dangled in front of me!

That's the recipe I usually go more

You can however try the ready made puff pastry method but I'm not a big fan of it though.

Have you ever tried LEDA chocolate bickies, or Woolworth's brand "Free From"? They both make what are essentially vegan tim tams. happy

Sigh. If we could just recruit Tofutti to make Tim Tams then, ... well ... you can maybe imagine the rest!

I don't so much miss non-vegan food, but I really miss the convenience of it! Say if I have a craving for chocolate or ice-cream etc.... I wish I could buy it from the corner shop or servo.
totally agree with you there
