Does anyone know of any B12 fortified foods that are available from the supermarket other than Sanitarium?

I just read on Facebook that Aloe Vera naturally contains B12! So maybe have a look into buying some Aloe Vera juice?

Oh really, that's interesting I'll have to try some!
I'm trying to boycott Sanitarium and am finding it hard to find other products with B12 in them >.> Their soy milk is currently my main source of B12.

Yeah because they are exempt from paying taxes because they're a religious organisation.
I just might do that happy

I'm not a huge fan of Sanitarium, either. But, as far as I know, they're not connected to any dairy company so I'm not going to avoid them like I would VitaSoy. I only buy their almond milk, nutmeat, and a few other things every now and then.

I'm not sure where you would get Aloe Vera juice, though, apparently it's a bit bitter, but a glass once a day can't be that bad...

Easy if you read 80% of my threads.

A good gamut of B-Vitamins are in Saunders Malt Extract.

Including Cobalamin, which is what you're after.

Aloe Vera I havn't heard of, but I do know the Gel
contains all the essential Amino Acids. Which are just as important
and another main 'can only get this stuff in Meat' Myth.

Most cereals that say "Malt Extract" will have your B12.

Cobalamin is vital to the growth of Calves and other ruminant grazing animals,
it is from the Element Cobalt, which is seen as the blue glazing on old-style Victorian era pottery. In leguminous plants is synthesizes on the root nodules into Cobalamin,
which the animals then eat. Also these animals have the ability to synthesize
Cobalamin from Cobalt in their own digestive systems.

It is speculated Humans have the same ability but a much more fickle capacity to do so.

A number of Legume plants out of a batch will fail to grow if in-adequate amounts of Cobalt are present in the soil and also as mentioned Calves, but I lead you gently into this ... as B12 is just as vital in Human growth processes. Eyes, Heart, Hair, Body- Mind.

Cobalamin is also in a group of B-Vitamins which help to break down Homocysteine, which  in highlevels is linked to the condition, Atherosclerosis (cholesterol collecting on Arteries) and thus has been said to 'reduce the likelihood of heart problems'.

If you want to read my whole report on:

What is B12 ecologically/metabolically and why is it vital to Humans?

lol, just let me know and I will post a link to the easily accessed .pdf
(it will load in your web-browser quick and easy)

Most taxes yes.
They are classed as a non-profit organisation because they donate money to the SDA church. Which bothers me because you don't know if the church is actually using that money to help less fortunate people, or to build more churches (most likely the latter).
