Animals are capable of so much more compassion, love, bravery, and ingenuity than most people realize.

I'd love to hear stories you've heard, or personally experienced, of animals showing love and compassion to each other, humans and/or other species.

This link is what compelled me to make this thread, i found it so heart-warming and touching, i'd love to hear more!

Ok I have a story. Our old border collie hated the water, he was really scared of it always had been (no idea why but he was). He would not go near it at the beach. Anyway one day on holiday my brother was swimming at the beach, I was with our dog on the rocks and sand. He was thrashing around in the water playing around as you do as a kid and our dog was watching, he thought he was drowning. He ran up to the water and looked so scared, crying and wimpering running from side to side... my bro kept playing, not realising and our puppy ran in the water swam right up to him and "saved" him. It was pretty amazing. He was so frightened but he knew he had to do it. ecstatic so brave and awesome. He was the best dog.

That was nice, and makes me glad I lead a vegan lifestyle.

This is a short video about Maria a goose, who has fallen in love with a man. It's pretty sweet haha

an·i·mal/ˈanəməl/
Noun:
A living organism that feeds on organic matter, typically having specialized sense organs and nervous system and able to respond rapidly...

Welp... that's humans out of the picture... we aren't a living organism, nor do we feed on organic matter, nor do we have specialized senses, organs or nervous systems... and our brains do not respond very rapidly ... wink (more rapid than thought! ~O~)

So if this statement is true, the term doesn't really exist if nothing has a thing to device what that thing is. So I guess we don't have the thing which nothing has.

As soon as there is a definition for such a thing, someone can make this statement, but considering they can't even use a word which is their biased intention to begin with... then what are they really saying... who the f**k knows? ESP knows? Common sense is knowing correction process? Like if someone said what they ACTUALLY meant... you'd look at them like 'wtf you saying' but if they say something which in every way does not communicate what they are actually intending to say... it is like the most potent pin to precisely knowing?

How can someone learn English by studying it I do not know.
About the same extent I don't know how someone can make this statement.

This is another lovely story about a cat named Jessie, who walked from the NT to SA in order to be with her brother Jack.
