Hey guys, I haven't been to the gold coast show in a long time because I didn't like the way the animals were being presented (e.g. in cages). But this year, my friends persuaded me to come with them, saying that most of the animals there are treated well by their owners, but I am not entirely sure about that...
I looked it up and honestly, I would stay away from any animal exhibitions ( With the exception of humane zoos where animals are not used for shows or anything.) in general. I also realized that the petting zoo was sponsored by dairy farmers, and even natural farmers steal calfs and hook dairy cows up too big, scary machines.
And, from the animal's point of view, the petting zoo is just a nasty place where they are screamed at, gawked at and touched by obviously inexperienced, loud and dirty little kids.
